Goshen, MA--- DAR State Forest---Jan 25-26th

Looks like NH is out due to a washout i had not considered from Irene.
New place might allow some people to join us.
Looks like we have to stay at the group site and it is self-pay at the ranger station.
We will be there at 10ish tomorrow.
    See ya there.

Awesome. I won't be able to camp, but I might be able to drop by for a visit.

Hey, if you're going to drive all the way out here you could go to Lithia springs. It's one of Cosmic and my favorite spots. It's about a mile hike in. There's info and pics on the western Massachusetts hang spots thread. Should be near the beginning. Since you've camped at the DAR before...just a thought.

You should. Parking is a bit problematic if you're staying overnight. I'll pm you with some more info.

Let me know where. If it's close I should be able to make it before the night. I have a funeral in central mass and should be back
Home around 3. Then I can pop out after that.

Nighthauk, it's in South Hadley off of Lithia Springs road. I hope you all make it out there.

When you're hiking in, make sure you stay on the main gravel path untill you see a broken down gate on the left, go through that and it'll take you right down to the best view of the reservoir.

We did not make it.. Tried to meet up with Brambor for XC skiing but didn't get there in time. Too cold for the dogs tonight. They would have been miserable.

We went XC skiing in Northern NH.. Snowed all afternoon. We did 15 miles or so.
