Hey fellow hangars,

My name is Jason from Tuscaloosa AL, better known as Squirrel. I am a firefighter /paramedic from the Tuscaloosa and Shelby county area. I work 48 hours on duty and off for 24 hours, so I don't have much time for camping but I am in the stocking and preparedness phase of getting back into camping. This time around I have chosen to becoming a hanger. The urge hit me again recently as I have been trying to obtain camping gear for a Fire Department Explorer program to get our youth into the woods and out from in front of the the infamous TV. Anyway, just thought I would drop in and introduce myself and look forward to sharing stories and gear talk.

I applaud your youth outreach. You could try hanging at the fire station.
