    New Tarp Goodness

Got my new MacCat Deluxe in the mail today. I haven't been able to take it out of the package just yet, but I spent some time sniffing it through the hole I poked in the top of the envelope it was shipped in.

    It smells like new gear.

Thank you for the excellent turn around time, Brian. Looking forward to stringing this thing up.

Ahhhhhhhh! That new gear smell. I want an air freshener that smells like that. Hope to have my new toys soon.

That might be a marketable air freshener brand - 'New Gear Smell'.

Glad it made it to you safely. Now I must return to the madness that is Trail Days prep .

So I got a chance to pitch the tarp for the first time today. It's a good thing I've decided to run a ridge line between to trees and hang the tarp from that because the two pine trees that I can hang from in my yard are too far apart for cord to go from pull out to tree.

Anyway. I didn't take any pictures because I haven't ordered the new digital camera yet. Call it pre-buyers remorse.

I'm impressed with the quality and strength of the tarp. It has been said hundreds of times before, but this is one of the best purchases I've made since the Blackbird. Can't string the hammock up in the yard though to see how everything works together (see issue with trees).

Once again, thank you for a quality product brian.
