    Lynx UQ with RidgeRunner Hammock

===> Well, did a quick hang in the snow with the new RR and Lynx UQ, and I have to report that I was TOO warm at 35*f with a 0* TQ from HG combined with the Lynx. Had to divest almost all the layers I wore, and never once - I repeat! - never once had any CBS! Had my Lynx stuffed with 2 extra oz if down, and this puppy is good to go for winter! Thanks, Brandon!

I have to agree. I went on an overnighter with my ridgerunner and full 20 degree lynx. Temperature got down to 28 Degrees with a light breeze, had no cold butt at all. No adjusting, just clip it in the carabiners, with the logo end at the head, fits snug. TQ was a WL 15 Degree Top Quilt, that also performed well. Ridgerunner is an excellent hammock system, also has plenty of storage pockets.

I have to say,,its the best system made..Lynx with a RR..a real no brainer to use,,and so perfect a setup..just clip and use. Brandon put a lot of R & D into this and is as perfect as can be. Enjoy!

I'd have to agree with all of the above, by far my favorite setup...so easy to put on, no leaks, no cords in the face, just downy goodness!

    Cheers

This is really good to hear. I've finally convinced my wife to let me get one.

One question though, how much adjustment play, if any, is there with the Lynx suspension?

I don't think there is any play. It's designed to align perfectly with the hammock and clip in right at the corners. The thing is designed to be idiot proof.

If I need to vent,,I have added about a 5 inch loop of 1/8 shockchord to the corners at the foot end, and then clip the lynx to the foot corners of the RR. this works for me and frees it up alittle to vent. You can do the same at the head end as well,,then when it gets cold..just leave the shock chord loops in place and clip as you normally would to your RR. I am a cold sleeper, and sometimes use my 20 degree Lynx with a extra oz of down at 40,,,and toasty to where I will sometimes vent.

    That's a good idea!
