So after a few hours of me making stuff sacks and a hammock for my niece for christmas, i went to bed. I left out all my fabric and sewing machine and woke up to my kids saying our elf on the shelf made herself a hammock and was laying in it. That crazy elf

Thats pretty cool, but why is the elf laying down on the job it's almost Christmas lots of work to be done....

My elf needs to "hang out" with yours. He is still a ground dweller and needs to be guided to a more elevated lifestyle.

I asked our elf why he didn't have a hammock and showed your elf's photo. He converted a HK2001 ACU bishop bag into a DL gathered end and hung his own hang right next to me. I guess Small showed me what's hanging!
