Hey, are there any good designs for two?
Been thinking about it for quite while and haven't come up with good design

Clark make one called the vertex. I want one but they are a little rich for my blood.

My wife and I are very comfortable in a gathered end out of a double layer large crinkle taffeta tablecloth, 90x132.
From what others have found out, a COMFORTABLE hammock for two doesn't really exist. The Clark vertex has two separate laying areas. If you can come up with one you better look out, everyone out there will want one of them.
I have a 12' gathered end DIY hammock.
I shared it with a girlfriend earlier this year. She said it was the most comfortable sleep she'd had all year, and I'd have to agree! We 'fit together' nicely and tend to sleep pretty entwined in bed anyways, so the hammock only helped
Awhile back I also tried sharing it with a friend, who tends to be stiff, not a cuddly type, and needs to lay very still and straight. That was probably the LEAST comfortable sleep I'd had that year.
There might be 2-person special hammocks out there, but with a regular gathered end, I think it can be amazingly comfortable. It just comes down to how well your bodies fit together.
That looks nice!
Though probably heavy...
a double bridge hammock. that is cool i never thought of that. i did see someone hang 2 gathered end hammocks with a spreader bar between the ends and one suspension line. so it was a side by side single hammocks with one tarp.
I have a design rolling around my head for a 2 person bridge hammock, but I see someone beat me to it.
Oh well. I'll probably make one anyway for the wife and me
OK, so now is the question, is there a comfy double hammock which doesn't need spreader bars
I'm thinking that fixing hammock between 3 trees could do the trick.
