General opinions on the Vertex 2 person

I am new the the concept of hammock camping and looking at options to get the wife involved. Was curious, could a person get away with just two trees verses three for the vertex if a spacer/ bridge was put on the top section near the head of the vertex? The concept of of the double sleeper sounds like just the ticket for me and always looking to get past the limitations of the needing three trees.

I'm sure you could, but you'd have to get in and out at the same time. One person would fall to the bottom otherwise. I also think you'd have to be about the same weight.

Folks: The retail price of a Vertex-size tarp, 11 x 10 is never less than $130 from any vendor. WB prices his current deluxe hammock , w/o tarp, @ $50 less than the Vertex.



It is just silly to fail to value the Vertex tarp when declaring the whole Vertex package expensive. A couple of nights not in a motel with a # as part of its name, and you'll have saved $100 toward the purchase price.
