I believe the weight limit on the BMBH is 270 pounds or so. It is a single layer of 1.9oz ripstop nylon with a pad pocket sewn on the outside. According to the JRB site, you are fine height wise but over their recommended weight limit.
In a bridge hammock the main factor is the compression force on the spread bars and the next is weight limit and stretch of the fabric. If you really wanted to hedge your bets, you could reinforce the spreader bars by fitting a piece of hardwood dowel inside the aluminums bars to give it a little more strength.
Let me know what you wish to do.
Cheers
Brian

I think I'm going to hold off atm, thanks for the response.
A couple of questions about the DIY UQ:
1. You noted that it was designed for a bridge hammock. Does this mean that it won't work with a gathered-end?
2. How easy/difficult do you think it might be for me to add cinch channel at the ends if I were to buy it as-is?

1) The DIY underquilt I am offering is not as wide as an underquilt specifically designed for a gathered end hammock. That is not to say that this one won't work. It will take a little adjusting and tweaking to make it effective. At minimum you will have to add longer pieces of shock cord to give it a little more range of adjustment. SGT Rock has some videos that show how he positions and underquilt in an asymmetrical fashion on his gathered end hammocks.
Also the only attachment points on this quilt are at the 4 corners, there is no channels along the long edges of the quilt to make it slide for easy adjustment.
2) Adding channels to each end of the quilt, should be a straight forward process if you have access to a thread injector. Using a piece of 1.5" grosgrain or similar to create your channel should do the job. Then just add some shock cord through the channel with some cord locks and you'll be all set.
Let me know if you wish to proceed with buy my DIY underquilt.
Cheers
