Solved the first issue by laying unused clothing and stuff sacks along the pad. Never solved the noise issue for myself. For my wife's benefit, I just snored louder so the pad noise was overlooked.

Warmth and pack size where great. Weight was so-so.
I've used BA IAC in combination with my BA Horse Thief in my HH on many occasions, generally when there are some chances that I've pushed it too far and want to go to ground in a shelter. That combination with an UQ can almost be overkill unless the temps are below 40 or so. And, as mentioned above, the extra weight (23oz on my mummy, IAC, I think) doesn't make it worth it.

It is nice for extra insurance, as I've had some cold nights while I was figuring out what worked and what didn't.

Before I received my SnugFit UQ, I used a BA IAC and a Crystal 35 bag in my HH... I was VERY comfy down to 28 degrees in that combination.

Now, in my WBBB and the SnugFit, I'm down to that same temperature without the IAC inside the hammock.

I would think that if the temps were below 28 degrees, I could use both the SnugFit and the IAC, use my REI 25 degree bag, and put on some clothing and be good down to 0... I'll have to test that theory this winter...
