I didn't see it mentioned (except as an acronym). Anybody interested in knots would do themselves a favor and purchase the Ashley Book of Knots. I know, I know...it is about $75. However, it is truly fascinating to read, the artwork is great, the stories and history are great, and it is still considered the authority on knots.

I don't mean to divert the true topic, though...thank you VERY much for this resource. I appreciate the effort it took to put it together, and it is a great at-a-glance resource.

Little bit of info on page 4.

Great book but not for everybody.
Only for those seriously bitten by knot bug.
At amazon.com you can have a look inside the book, do so.

Not sure if ebooks have new editions or just get updates. Calling it 2.0
Changes include adding the following knots: Water Knot, Carrick Bend, Highwayman's Hitch and Tumble Hitch.
Also added drawings of the Constrictor Knot in the Bight and the Shear Lashing,
drawings showing how to join Slings and Recovery Straps and a little info/drawing on Slipped Hitches.
Have also polished the text a little.

    P.S. JosephCurwen + Bill_Mead. You are welcome.

i used to know a million different knots, forgot most of them since my search and rescue days. this booklet is AMAZING! i'm going to print it and slide it into some laminating sheets to prolong the life lol. i'll be using this as a go-to guide to practice around the fire. thanks a ton!!

Very good resource. I can do about 15-20 knots from memory, but others that I don't tie often need reference.

Thanks for the convenient delivery method!

This is more than a few knots, nicely done. I often remember hammock related knots, last month went rock climbing and I can't do the Swiss-seat right !

    Thank you for sharing.
