I'm wanting to take advantage of the sale. I'm torn between the Snipe and the Light Owl. Recommendations? My other (first that I bought before I became in the know) is a Hennessy Explorer Deluxe.

I'm new to this, but enjoying my light owl. Don't have UQs yet (though I'm trying to decide which one now) so I'm using pads and that double layer makes it easy. Light Owl is 1.5 oz heavier than the Snipe (if you're counting) and uses a slightly lighter 1.1 oz ripstop vs. the 1.5 for the Snipe. You can't go wrong with either.

I just put in an order for the Tadpole outside pole mod kit. My reward for all of that cooking and cleaning for Thanksgiving.

I just ordered the "Old Man Winter" with velcro doors and the 12' ridge line. As a noob this is my first "upgrade" purchase. I can't wait to break it in!
