    First Real Hang

Well, I finally got to venture past the back yard. I have a hennessey scout and have done a few back yard nights but haven't got past that point. Turkey season came in here and I went out Fri. night and got up early Sat. to go hunt. Everything went great. It went to down to the low 50's so I used a cheap wally world bag and was good. Got a fire going quickly more for fun than cooking. I cheated on food I just packed some fruit, candy bar, half sub sandwich to take for dinner. I do have a gram weenie alcohol stove I'm dying to try. slept like a rock till I heard a deer run by around 4:30. I got up around 5:30 and went on my way. Can't wait till next weekend to do it again.

    Glad to hear that!
If I may ask... what direction do you sleep in your Scout HH, diagonal leftoright or tright to left, or another? Have you tryied other HH? Just wodnering how diferent would it be to the asym ones... these kind of lead you to take the diagonal position head left feet right.

I'm 5'4" so when i was trying to find a deal on a hammock a found the scout on ebay for like $40. i sleep asym but it isn't an asym design. it's just big enough for me to sleep somewhat diagonal. i put feet to the right. i could be wrong though but it seems ok. i haven't tried any other though. i really want to get some 1.1 silnylon and make another
