Quilt hooks for a hammock with an integrated bug net

After reading some advice left on another post about how to keep your UQ from slipping, I went to Dutch's site to pick me up some quilt hooks. I was mildly disappointed to see that they are not designed for a hammock with an integrated bug net (aka. WBBB). Is there anything remotely like it that will perform a similar function? I haven't had a problem yet due to not having received my order yet from Brandon at Warbonnet but I'm trying to look ahead and be ready for when it gets here. I am a fairly active sleeper so I know that it will probably be an issue for me.

I just ru na piece of shockcord from each end of the hammock where the underquilt clips via biner to the suspension.

Then I clip the hooks to that.

Alternatively, clip the underquilt suspension lines to each other as shown in Dutch's video for the plastic quilt clips.

The other thing I do w/ a WBBB is to run a piece of shockcord around the perimeter of the underquilt ( I happen to use a Jarbidge or New River) via grosgain loops. The shockcord is clipped into the 2 mitten hooks of the WBBB near my head on the zipper side.

I routinely get down into the teens with this setup, no draft or slippage worries.

I had to correct my spelling. It is SEW on quilt hooks.

Shug gave me a good idea similar to your setup Ratdog, but we tie shock cord to the loops on each corner of the quilt and then tie a prusik knot to the suspension and adjust to your liking.

Can also run a SRL whoopie between your suspension points above your bug net and hook or run whatever you want to/from it.
It is a very alert, active sheep, with a stylish, lively carriage.

I use a Juki & Pfaffs w/ assorted attachments, and have serviced lots of vintage machines. Any questions?

+1 Have had to do this with my son's hammock; it works quite well.
