Is Paypal really needed?

I don't know exactly but there's a lot of other companies like Tesla which starts accepting bitcoin.

Cryptocurrency is not the future of money. Until it does not take too much power to do a single transaction, it is not useful. I would rather drive 200 miles than process a single transaction.

PayPal sucks for vendors, bitcoin sucks for everyone... what about Stripe, Square, Apple Pay or even Freedom Pay ?

I have to say, PayPal is super convenient, and truth be told, I have avoided doing business on some sites because of the annoying hassle of checking out, filling in the address, entering the CC info, etc.

I hate the idea of having to put all in the info in.

Now before someone (captain obvious) chimes in and says”yes, but you can save all that info once you enter it all and register as guest”. Well, I don’t like having to have my CC info stored on file with every vendor I buy something from. With PayPay, I only store the info in one place, and virtually all of my online transaction are automated, and I only need to enter a password.

So, there you have it Dutch...just one man’s opinion!

I'll buy your stuff with or without paypal. Makes little to no difference to me. If Paypal is a hassle for you, then I'd be just fine if you went strictly to credit cards for payment.

I'll throw my two cents into this necro-bumped thread.......... PayPal makes things easy for me. All of my shipping info + credit card info is stored. It's basically another layer of security as a purchaser. There have been times where I made a decision as to where to purchase something from based on the availability of paypal checkout.
