Staying Warm with a 3/4 under quilt

The 3/4 length under quilts are very popular with hikers who want to keep a light pack. I have been on the receiving end of some very helpful advice. It is my time to share. Shug taught me to use a sit pad in the foot box of my top quilt to help stay warm. I have found another light addition that works for me. I wear a pair of knee warmers (the type cyclist wear for winter riding). You can get them at nashbar.com. or almost any bicycle shop. It is going down to 30 tonight in Montgomery, AL. Take care.
