The ledge track looked like good fun. Loved that song with ‘the woods is supposed to be a quiet place” end. Thoughs Gorge Rat hikers didn’t know what hit them. lol Under quilt protectors are great! The Grand Loop looks to be a great hike (good mix), you must have really enjoyed it!

We always loved being in the woods as kids. Feels safe to us. Thankee.

The Ledge is tricky for sure. I do croon with abandon….I think the woods love a ditty.
Would be easy to come up lame on the Grand Loop. Lots of chances for injury!

Yet more purdy views of the Gorge there. Almost had to go and huddle under the poncho liner when Casper came on out...

Know that lung-burning feeling well. As long as the joints aren't complaining, it's great! (With apologies to Tony the Tiger...)

Joints felt good and I really felt great lung-wise since I quit smoking on New Years. For that I was over-joyed.
