    Well, now, that was pretty. There isn't anything in the world like the sunrise over the mountains.

    Glad neither the botulism nor the skunk beer got to Hickery...not sure which is worse, but neither'd be fun...

    I was looking at that flamingo, going, "Now, how did my next-door neighbor get that durned thing all the way up there?"

    That bit with Hickery trying to negotiate the downhill reminds me of the last portion of the Hawksbill trail, right before you hit the summit...if you don't notice the switchback there... That ditch is about as rugged as it gets on the East Coast, for sure.

    Thanks for taking us along!

    Another great one. I'm hoping Hickory survived the eggs and makes it to part 4. :-)

    Shug,

    Thanks for installment #3. 'twas a good one, like all of the rest. The pink flamingo was a nice touch (a thumbs up to whoever left it there).

    Caching=smart!
    Is it pee! Killing me, HA! Coors still in business?
    Red beans and rice looked seriously good.....will try that one.
    The Medaglia (sp?) coffee, seems popular. Spamburgler carried some in the BSF trip...must be good.
    Bet Cakes liked the flamingo.
