    We had a big time at the Fall Back Hang in the Uwharries last weekend but often the campfire conversation was about " . . . we know Shug is in NC - wonder what he's doin? Probably down in the gorge!" Yep, now we know.

    Yet another Gorgeous video (ow...) from the Hickery Bros.

    Looks like the foliage was in full change while you were there. Beautiful area...

    Is the river normally that low this time of year? I know it can get to be raging when the rains are right. And I'm not surprised that some folks tried to homestead there; the river would've brought perfect soil on down into that floodplain.
