    Bulk loose fill primaloft

Has anyone used the "bulk loose fill primaloft" from downlite? It's commonly used in pillows and blankets as a down alternative.

    $40 + shipping for 5lbs of material

I just don't know how it'll work for an uq / tq. What it's equivalent to in terms of fill power.

Yea, I saw that, and there are a few others that talk about loose fill primaloft. But nothing either recent, or comprehensive about its use, or its performance.

Yep. For that kind of price seems cheap enough to do some experimenting with.

It tends to clump up over time with use but it can be spread back out by patting the clumps between your hands to work them apart. Apart from that it seems to work just fine...

I have some loose prima loft. It clumps and doesn't move inside the nylon well. The sheet variety is better to work with.

I have a 5 pound box that is minus about 2 ounces...I would sell it for $35 shipped in the US. It did not work for what I wanted so it's been sitting for a few months in a corner.
