Not sure about pouch size on the TX models but I have an NX250 and also opted for the Vertex tarp. No problems whatsoever on getting it all in the pouch. With snakeskins however I could see how that may be an issue.

My Vertex tarp stuffs right into my NX-250 pouch with Mountain Goat snakeskins + tree straps.

great videoneo
the matrix has you
Since the extra fabric for fabric and hoods and heavier zippers of the Clark hammocks all add up, it pays to take more care in packing instead of stuffing, in order to make up a smaller package. By actual volume, not eyeballing, I have packed a Clark and tarp with almost a 40% volume savings compared to stuffing, which is only faster.
Thanks for posting that vid, it has finally broke the stalemate in my mind as to buy... not only as Clark, but a TX-250 vs a NX-250. Especially for my very first camping Hammock. Ive been literately mulling over what model to buy, even what type, etc. I have to say if it wasn't for this forum my camping days(sleeping on the hard ground) would be surely over. I cant to wait for my new toy to breath new life into my outdoor trips.
Tony and Brian, what size snake skins did you purchase.
The Vertex tarp is 10.5' by 10'. I selected an 11' skins size on the Mountain Goat web order form but added that I had a Vertex tarp and gave the measurements in the order comments field. The tarp fits great.
