The weather was great yesterday, and I managed to get some pictures of the hammocks. Unfortunately, webs.com only lets us list one photograph per product, so I had to link to albums hosted on Imgur in order to share all of the pictures.

Let me know if you have any questions!

    Tough question.

    1. We enjoy making them.
    2. We (my mother and I, the thread injector operators) are perfectionists. It will be difficult to find better stitching. And the more we make, the better we'll get.
    3. The market is far from saturated. A quick look at the waiting lines for some of the bigger vendors (Warbonnet, Dream Hammock, etc.) will show this. We're hoping to offer another alternative so hangers can get into a hammock they'll love.
    4. For now, we'll be targeting lower price ranges by offering hammocks that aren't quite so feature-rich. Few other cottage vendors offer a simple gathered end hammock, forcing people to go to the likes of Grand Trunk or Eagles Nest Outfitters, who mass produce their hammocks.

Also, seriously, if you want something custom done, send me a PM. I have done two hammocks with integrated bugnets, both of which came out well. I've also made two Fronkey style bugnets, and can make those.

The problem is, we're just starting out, and we only have ripstop, Amsteel, and webbing in supply. We don't have noseeum, zippers, etc. in stock for bugnets. Once we've gotten established, we'll be able to stock up on these materials. For now, I can order them in on a per-order basis.

Like I said, PM me, and I'll be glad to talk. If you want a double-layer with an integrated bugnet, I can do that.

Looks like you have an alternative to DIY. I'll point some of my scouts your way if they ask.

Try to migrate away from webs.com as soon as you can. A domain and hosting from GoDaddy is becoming dirt cheap lately with all the discount codes out there. Other than that, the site looks great!

Youth hammocks are a good idea - think about making something for the larger folks too... In north america we outnumber you skinny fellas.

This is an honest question, so please don't take it the wrong way... What do the "larger folks" look for in a hammock? A single layer of fabric can only bear so much weight. A double-layer is simple enough, but will that suffice? I have faith in the webbing (1500-lb break strength) and whoopie slings, but the sewn channel is what worries me. Right now, we're running two lines of stitches for the channel. We can add a third, but is that necessary? What does your current hammock look like, in terms of extra security? Thanks!

Heard and noted, thank you. Unfortunately, the free site listing only allows us to have 5 products. When we can afford to pay for a better site, we will definitely add more options.
