Underquilt Slips To Other Side of Hammock

I have been having problems with my HammockGear Phoenix 3/4 underquilt slipping out from underneath my left shoulder. The suspension is tight, and slips to the other side of the hammock. It is an older underquilt, so it may not have any recent suspension modifications by Stormcrow. How do you guys combat the quilt moving on you when you toss and turn in the middle of the night?
    Thanks

Dutchware sells quilt hooks. You can just hand sew the hooks onto the hammock with a few stitches.

Mine stopped doing that when I got those little hooks that orient the suspension lines down each side of the quilt. They are Dutchware items. They aren't the same as what Bubba suggested but those work too. I saw some one using a device called a 'triangle thingy' too. I'm not sure who makes those. There are ways to make the quilt behave and stay put.
I like refried beans. That's why I wanna try fried beans, because maybe they're just as good and we're just wasting time. You don't have to fry them again after all.

You can off-set your suspension wraps as well......that will help. Maybe loosen your end channels if it has them.

I have the triangle thingies from Arrowhead Equipment that helps to deploy the underquilt and keep it centered, but I think the quilt hooks look like they are the perfect solution. I have not used them, though. My quilt stays centered very well. It will want to pop back and forth if I have it setup to tight, so you may be able to solve the problem by giving the quilt a little more slack so that it is not strung too tight end to end.

Dutch quilt hooks fixed mine, but Duffy had to get a wider UQ (to which he's attached Dutch clips, too, of course). The UQs he made for us were the same size, perfect for me, just too narrow for him.

I have had the same problem, especially with my blackbird. Triangle thingies will help some but the problem was eliminated when I bought my thunderbird which has built-in quilt hooks.

I agree with the other posts that the Dutch quilt hooks will likely solve the problem, as well as Shug's suggestion to loosen the ends which can cinch the ends too close together causing it to pull out from under your shoulder when you move.

I don't like to add a bunch of extras to my setup, so I just tighten the left-head end cord a lot, then tighten everything else pretty good but not as much. It seems to stay on just fine. I never have it slip off while sleeping. If it does, it's only while I'm getting in the sleeping bag.

I use an older HG Phoenix 3/4 UQ.
Getting the main suspension adjusted correctly usually fixes this issue.
    It can be too tight.
Also the end shockcords can be too tight as well.

Thanks everyone for chiming in with all of the helpful tips. They are all just the things I would have suggested.

@Winstone, if you are still having issues, send me an email or call me and we can figure out how to dial it in just right.
