    Thank you Simply Light Designs

I have, like most if you, been on the search for the perfect hang that works for me. I tried the amazingly light BIAS WWM And loved it for the most part. Super light and pretty comfortable. The issues, my tarp and papasmurf bug net wanted something a little shorter and I do get some pressure behind the knees since I got the 52" wide.

Well, for an amazing price, super fast delivery I ordered a SLD Tree Runner SL. At 9 feet by 62" wide it sounded right. Just took it out for a lay. Wow! As comfortable as my WBBB and with my whoopies, straps, toggles, Newfoundland flag and the stuff sack came out to exactly 10 oz.

Ah, the Newfoundland flag...essential piece of hanging equipment.

Seriously, that's cool stuff. Hope you post some pics of it in action.

    Very nice lightweight setup.
How tall are you? 9' seems like a pretty short hammock?

I'm 5'6" and love my 9' Streamliner. I have 2 of them though the spare hammock and tent may soon get listed for some new toys.

Well, it's more comfortable to me than my 11 foot. However, that's 52" wide. Width makes a difference.

Hey SkunkApe, I don't know if you are following this thread anymore, but maybe you or another Streamliner owner could chime in. How would you recommend finishing the suspension. It looks like it is a sewn channel, which gives some options. I was thinking it might be best to run a cord through it and whip it "warbonnet style", then larks heading a whoopie sling over the knob. If you order the whoopie slings as an add on, does he do it this way, or just thread the sling through the channel? It is unclear from the picture of the flat hammock on the website.

Now that you have owned it a while, are you still liking it? I am debating between a 10 ft, 1.6 or 1.9 Streamliner and a 10 foot Freebird from Papa Smurf at Dreamhammocks. Any input you might have would be appreciated. Thanks.

IMO this is an ultralight hammock and I want to keep it that way. I just lark head my dynaglide whoopies directly into the channel.

I've got the 10 foot 1.9oz coyote brown and it very comfortable since it's wider than normal. I just use a short continuous loop with my whoopie looped though.
