Only have good things to say about Jared and the products he makes over at SLD. Placed my custom order (Tarp, hammock and bug net all custom lengths and add-ons) with Jared on Friday 27th September. Communication was great, order shipped the following Monday and I received it that Wednesday. Product is top notch, well thought out and materials are of great quality.

Will order from Jared (Simply Light Design) again.

I do not have a scale but here are the weights as per SLD's website.

I just ordered the Tree Runner SL (1.1) comes out to 6.3 oz. I ordered Friday afternoon and it was sent out first thing in the morning. Awesome.

I just picked up an 1.1-oz. 11' Streamliner DL. After rigging it with a couple of continuous loops and cinches, it comes to exactly 17.9 oz BAGGED! I was a little concerned about the DL versus SL - don't like to do my walkabouts with too much bulk - but slipping my cheap ccf pad in between and using my JRB Mt Rogers kept me warm and toasty on a cooler (<35F) afternoon - heck, my wife had to wake me for Thanksgiving dinner! I think I am gonna play with the suspension a tad to see if I can scare up another oz or two - whip up a couple of dogbones or whoopies and swap out the cinches for either toggles or some triangles.

I am ABSOLUTELY pleased with the quality, attention to detail, the delivery time, and Jared's communications!

Anyone know anything about performance and useability of SLD Tarps? I'm looking at the Winter Haven and comparing to others....
