    Simply Light Designs Streamliner Question

I'm looking at picking up a 11 ft Streamliner and I see an option for a Zippered storage pouch on the left or right shoulder. I couldn't find a pic or description of this. Can anyone fill me in? How big, how is it attached, was it useful? Any input from users would be appreciated. Thanks!

I've got the SLD 10' Trail Lair netted hammock with the zipper storage. I tried it at my head end, but I flip sides a lot at night, so now I use it at my foot end. I usually put my socks, shirt or fleece hat in it so its easy to get to if I need it. It's handy and a decent size.

Mine measures 11" wide, 8" deep on a 10ft Robic 1/2 streamliner, 1/2 treerunner hybrid. Definite comes in handy.

Nice. Looking at the pics, I'm thinking that since I sleep head-left/feet-right I'd want the pocket on the right. That way it flips into the hammock for access?

I am like MichiganDave above and often flipflop sides and usually just end up putting the bag at my foot end. But originally I usually slept head left so I put the bag on my right shoulder as you suggested, and it works well.

What is this hybrid you speak of? Is it the streamliner lair (netted hammock with cat cuts) or like a hug style half net (dutch half wit for example)

The zippered storage pocket is one of my favorite options on my SLD Trail Lair; I sleep head right/feet left (i.e., left-hand lay), so the zippered pocket is installed on the head end at my left shoulder, out of my way when I sleep (opposite my head) and natural for me to reach across to access as a right-handed person. Worth every penny to me, even with two peak bags and a ridge line organizer added to my hammock interior. A place for everything, and everything in its place!

It has the cat cuts of a streamliner on one side, and the ends, while the other side is cut straight like his tree runner. The cat cuts make the edge very tight which is great for laying and views but uncomfortable to sit on while just hanging out. The straight side is looser and allows for more comfortable sitting. Here is a great thread on it... https://www.hammockforums.net/forum/...ad.php?t=77595
