It's so great to read these reviews about Simply Light. Before making a purchase I do as much research as my patience will let me. Eventually I pull the trigger on the the items I like, and read the reviews later.

The members of this forum have made me feel a lot better about my purchases from Simply Light and Enlightened Equipment. Both are highly recommended and I haven't received most of the orders yet!

Here's a SLD story for you, like you I've done quite a bit of research to replace my old HH CAT tarp.. I chose the Winter Haven in 12ft tarp pull outs silpoly, like the others "all the bells and whistles". I ordered it Friday evening the 6th and it was in my hands Monday earky afternoon the 9th.. Jared told me he couldn't sleep so he did my tarp Friday night and shipped it Saturday.. And the quality is 1st class.. He's got himself another loyal customer!

I did it in into a problem with my SLD equipment. It made my other hammock gear seem very infearor. Now I dream of more quality gear from SLD. Becareful SLD is a strong drug.

I'm hear to add more praise. I too ordered a 12ft Winter Haven with modifications to match my Warbonnet Ridgerunner and from order to in hand was 4 days. Can't say enough about how easy Jared is to work with.

Awesome thread! Such valuable insights... and going strong for 3+ years(?)... I would love to recount my customer service relationships and shipping times ect. but I am very private with such personal data. My favorite word of the day is lubricious. I hope I can say that. It is a word I wanted to use yesterday to describe the kind eyes on a certain snake lady(noone here).

I don't read enough in my hammock. Today I did a little it was ok. Is anyone here reading anything worthwhile?

Does anybody have a Trail Lair in 1.6 Hyper D XL? I'm thinking of getting an extra wide hammock and have my eye on this one. Would appreciate your thoughts.

My favorite hammock is hyper XL trail lair. Cut down to 64 inches finished width. I have tried almost every vendor on the market. I love my trail lair more than any other.
