Here are some photos of a Tyvek groundcloth purchased from Material Concepts that I am converting into a tarp. I bought two, one for me and one for my 8 y/o son. We are new to hammocking and for the time being are car campers with the Cub Scout Pack. To get us out in the woods hanging quickly and inexpensively I was intrigued with the folks who had some success using Tyvek for various projects. I ordered two sheets and watched a youtube video with a guy making pullouts on an emergency blanket. Someone had it on a thread here (sorry I can't remember who or which thread) but I used that method and so far I think it will hold. The company I purchased it from suggested using a sheet bend on the corners and I may try that on the other to see which we like best. Here are a few photos of a corner to show.
