    Wally World blue pad works good, I used one before I could swing an underquilt. My butt gets chilly hanging indoors without bottom insulation. You can go pretty low temp with a pad, but an underquilt is super comfortable.

    You should try a pluq. It's cheap and if you do the fold in half no sew version it's pretty warm too.
