MN hangers are pretty active, so there are a lot of hangs. Just look in the trip planning section to find them

It sure better! I'm working my butt off so I can get my down in time to finish my quilts. Only about 4 more months to go.
I even got a taste of winter driving through a 30 minute snow storm today.
It looks like you guys had a great last day out there. The weather sure improved a lot from the Saturday.

Welcome from the southwestern corner of the state. The BWCA is about the the most isolated area you can get to.

Thanks for all the warm (or frozen butt hang COLD) welcomes. :-)

I'd love to try the Frozen hang coming up, but it depends greatly on the state of my gear when it rolls around. Next on my list is a decent sleeping bag / top quilt, then a tarp... Cold shouldn't be a problem, as I lived an hour north of Anchorage, AK for the better part of 5 years... It gets chilly here, but I have yet to see -33°F in Minnesota. Granted, we didn't camp in that temperature, but running around Fairbanks and North Pole, AK in the evening.... yeah, it was chilly.

If anyone is in the Duluth area, I'm around most weekends either out hiking with my faithful four legged companion, or trying to find the best spot to get that killer photograph.
