Nice to see what we missed trying to do this trail last week...it was socked in, no views, lots of rain and snow. We are going to put in for permits for next year.....in August! I was able to hang at Sunrise, Summerland, and Paradise River no problems and 15ft straps were nice to have.

Awesome report. Your pictures had me and my kids all drooling at the fantastic views. Will definitely add this to the list of places to get to. Thanks for an awesome write up!
Thanks! The campsite pictures were the highlight of each day.
I've heard that the weather can get like that often. We were very lucky, and enjoyed it!
I took over 433 pictures, I can't stop looking at them either!
Go, Go , Go! You'll love it. But keep in mind, it 21,000 feet of elevation gain and loss and 93 miles. So a bit of a commitment.
