Totally doable by hammock. I even say hang potential at Mowich Lake, though, I'd avoid that site. It's not very scenic and is a drive-in campground.

9 days on 10lb of food - pretty hard core!
Sounds hard core when you put it that way, but the reality was I didn't have to carry two lunches. I ate at Longmire and Sunrise. Both had good fare, and better prices than I expected. Also, the Packit Gourmet meals were very generous, not to mention, I had reset just about every night.

I really enjoyed the pics and write up of your trip.
It looked like a great balance of miles per day and smelling/photographing the flowers.
What camera and tripod were you using?

I started with the the ULA Curcuit, and noticed that there was still plenty of room, then switched to the smaller pack. The ULA was full to start, but everyday, with the consumption of food more and more room was made. Very gratifying and noticeable to have the pack get lighter and lighter each day!

"Magical" is a good way to describe it!

Glad to hear that the knives were well received. Loved that trip report, lots of knives there!
