Brilliant, Mr Shug! It was the complete mix, Mr Shug hiking video experience, and that was just part one! Very BIG double thumbs up! It deserves a triple thumbs up, but I’ve only got two thumbs. I might be able to buy another thumb off the internet.

It was a hoser of a storm for sure. I had to hunker down in my Packa before even thinking of rigging a tarp.

Sixty five degrees and yer a-sweatin?

Son, if I ever get rich I'm gonna pay for you a plane ticket down here the middle week of September sometime, show you what sweatin on the trail is all about.

Shoot. I gotta put on a sweater for sixty five degrees. That there is Santa Claus weather.

But for a Yankee, it weren't all bad.

I really do miss the Northern woods of my yoot in NH, and your traipsing round Lake Superior sure does bring me back there---and during the color, too. Man I'm jealous.

So many nice things there. The creeks and river running, foggy tranquility, colors and smells of the woods in the fall are all amazing things. I liked the shots of the standing water at day two camp, proof positive that the hammock has advantages over sleeping on the ground. Thanks for a fun video, hope the achy joints did well.
