    NX-250 UQ suspension ???

So I took my NX-250 out for my first in-the-woods hang this past weekend. We back-packed the first 25 miles of the NTP trail from Upper Benson to Piseco, NY. Weather was awesome and the trip was a blast.

The issue I ran into was when I put a Wilderness Logics 3/4 UQ under the NX-250. I was able to get it rigged fairly well but I noticed the UQ slipped "down" towards my feet about 10-12" from where I wanted it. The 2nd night I tied the cinch cords to the top of the hammock to hold the UQ in place better. This worked for keeping the UQ in place but changed the way the hammock hung and not really for the better.

The setup kept me warm both nights (which were 40* and 36*) but curious how other people rig their UQ to NX-250.

Almost always I use a full length, but I do have a 3/4 length that I sometimes use. My short one stays in place because I tie it in place. There is a small loop on each side of each end of the hammock, near the pocket for the hoop support poles. With the UQ in place, locate the loop and you should be able to visualize a good fix.

That was my other thought for tying it off as well. Thanks.

    I us 3/4 uq's on my tx-250.
On the head end you can run your uq suspension where the poles run. Between the poles and the pocket the poles go into. It helps to keep the uq in position.
I can't really explain it very well so I will get a pic of what I'm talking about tonight after I set it up...
