I'm sure this has already been covered in here somewhere, but I've been searching around and haven't been able to find it.
I'm a new hammock user. I've got the HH Expedition Zip. I've tried two different suspension methods so far: locking rings and python straps. I think I prefer python straps, and was considering swapping out the included Spectra line with a short loop and carabiner to clip into my python strap. I was thinking that polyester webbing might wear better than rope, and was wondering if there were any guides on how to replace the stock cords with 1/2" or 3/4" webbing. Or am I barking up the wrong tree here? (So to speak.)
Sorry if this has been covered to death, and thanks in advance for any links or advice anyone can give.
