    Her First Hang

She's hung in my hammock with me a couple of evenings, dozed off then we've taken her inside to sleep for the night. She seemed really interested, so I got her a Hennessey Scout for her birthday. Tonight she hangs solo.

Well, I'm hanging about 15' west of her, but you get the picture. It is still in the backyard along the greenbelt, but we are hanging. She already made me promise a camping breakfast out here in the morning.

She Woke at 8 for a trip in to the bathroom. Says she was comfy and warm. Only slept on her camping pad then inside her sleeping bag. I think she is sleeping again.

Why to go. My 8 year old loves his. He has a bottom entry Hennessy. He say he feels like he is being "rebirthed" overtime he gets out. Gald she is enjoying hers.

That's awesome!! I started out staying one night in the hammock at a state park close to home...I was still a little skeptical, but I was game to keep trying. Biggest thing for me was getting comfy, and after the hubby kept working with me on how to lay on a diagonal and getting a smaller down pillow...I was finally sold! That was 4 years ago. Now, if we could make it happen I would have his and her hammocks hanging over the bed.

Sounds like you are getting her started off right...little doses at a time until she really gets the feel of it and she will be sold like I was. WooHoo!!

Breakfast burritos stuffed with a mountain house skillet scramble. Hash browns, sausage, eggs, peppers. Yum. Raspberry crumble with chocolate crumbles for the fruit and treat groups. Super successful. Little sister is next on the conversion list.

Guess who's sacked out in her hammock again? She was out in ten minutes or less.
