I'm planning to put together a route/plan today and will post it this afternoon.

okay... sorry for the delay! Here is a proposed route/plan. I'm flexible so if the route makes it so you can't come (i.e. too much hiking or something let me know)

I'm thinking:

Friday:
Park at Split Rock River Loop parking (Split Rock State Park). Would like to shuttle cars if someone or a few of you come. Then hike to one of the Split Rock River campsites (probably the last one - South East Split Rock River). This about 3 miles.

Saturday
Hike from Split Rock to one of the Beaver River campsites (north or south). This is 12.75-13 miles depending on which Beaver River site.

Sunday
Hike from Beaver River Site to Silver Bay. This is approximately 4 miles....which leaves plenty of time to have an early lunch in town

So let me know what you all think, and if you can join me.

I just printed off this plan! I want to bring some boyscouts out soon!
I live in Roberts and may need Hiking Dad to check over our setups some day!

would love to check out some setups or go hang with you guys. My boys are too young for scouting, but I really hope they get into it when they are older.

Also, you are more than welcome to come this weekend too

Coming up on Saturday, will hike in to spend the night and then backtrack to the loop. I,ll be there the 14th-17th.

Heading up that way tomorrow. I'm thinking I can make it there Saturday, maybe a couple days after.
--Stairguy what time are you thinking on arriving Sat.?
