    Lightest Bugnet on the Market?

Currently, I have the Byer mosquito hammock, which weighs 16oz. I was looking to upgrade my hammock, and was thinking about the Grand Trunk Nano. However, with most bug nets, it would increase the weight to over the 16oz of my Byer. I was wondering whether or not you guys knew of any store or DIY nets that were lighter than 8.6oz.

You could go with a Darien UL hammock and probably save the most weight that way. Unless you don't want an integrated net.

The lightest option is probably the hug net from arrowhead equipment.

My DIY made of .7 oz. from Zpacks weighs 7.7 ounces. Took 6 yards for a material cost of $48. Its simple design makes it very usable, as in the pictures below. It is the perfect size for a GT UL but too small for my new DIY hammock that is 10.5 feet long.

I have 2 fronkey style nets. My NoSeeUm is 7oz my Tulle is 2.5 oz (but has been ripped open twice in the field). Durability trumps weight this time.
