    SOLD:DIY SL 1.9oz

I was building this for a guy I hike with every so often, he's got a grand trunk he picked up from LLBean years ago, and it's beat.
Unfortunately, real life happened and he needed money, and knowing what happened, I gave him his money back.
So now I have a 90% completed hammock that I need to get rid of. So....

Asking Now $130 shipped CONUS, please read everything through before posting an I'll take it.

    For Sale:
    • Single Layer 1.9 oz/yd grey ripstop from Joann Fabrics.
    • 58" wide body after rolled hems.
    • 10'4" long from gather to gather
    • Zippers on each side with Stoawable (non removable) Bug net
    • Tie outs 26" on center with 5' shockcord tie outs (compatible with JRB quilts, and HH accessories)
    • Pack clips on each corner, allowing for quick attachment of UQs
    • 10' (each) pair of tree straps, 1.5" poly, with a loop sewn into ONE end for Marlin Spike Hitch setup. cut shorter or second loop added upon request.
    • 104" 1.9mm techline ridgeline
    • Zipper pulls made from Yellow Micro Cord (inside) glocord (outside), with glow in the dark Nightshade Aerohead pulls.
    • 2x 6' Whoopies made of 7/64" Amsteel

Also included, but not yet completed:

    • Peak bag (foot end) for stowing bug net
    • Custom Ridgeline organizer built to your specs (one in photos is just an example)
    • Double ended Stuff sack (bishop bag) built to your specs. (Green one is photos is an example to show approximate stuffed size)

Note in photos : Carabiners NOT included, the soccer ball is a size 3 (childs) ball that's why I included the brick, for better scale.(Suspension in photos is just what I use while I'm building as they're short enough to fit in my stand)

I do not have an accurate enough scale to weigh it.

I thought I'd share my experience dealing with hk2001. Justin does very good work. I took him up on a customized stuff sack offering in the PIF a few weeks ago. After I received the stuff sack (and was so pleased with his work), I sucked up all the pride I had and asked him if he could make me a hammock. He said absolutely. He let me customize it based on materials he had on hand and we went from there. I'll spare you the details of what I asked for. But what I will tell you is that I lay flat and was very impressed with his work. So much so that I had him make me an UQ to match after I got the hammock.

This is a perfect set up for someone who wants a new, full hammock set up (with most of the bells and whistles out there), for one price and who is not wanting to do the DIY themselves.

    Enjoy it!

Why should I not buy this for myself, wife or kids? Looks pretty sweet. What doesn't come with it making it ready to hang?

this comes with everything, and i don't have any experience with the seller. this thing is fully loaded, ridgeline, pull outs, UQ hooks, bug net, bishop bag, ridgeline organizer AND peak bag. not to mention straps and whoopies. all of this stuff alone would cost you $100 separately.

It'll come totally ready to hang, you need to provide:
    2 trees
And the ability to tie a marlin spike hitch
