When I posted this, I did not realize that the NEHHA was the weekend of Sept 21st, which was stupid on my part. I will not be looking into doing one for Sept most likely. I will have to look at some other dates. The weekends of the 12th and the 19th of Oct are also out for me as well.

If anyone is willing to help or has an suggestions, let me know.

My suggestion would be before the rifle deer season in ME; which is the last weekend in October IIRC.
If it moves, you can eat it. No promises you will think it tastes good.

    Group hang in Maine

If we want to look further down the schedule we need a NEHHA hang spot for spring 3014. Winter is already set but a location other than the ones we ha e been using would be a great addition.

[QUOTE=McRat;1073704]I started this off this year, amid the tall pines of Thomas Point Beach - hammock paradise. It was too much fun to be a one time event. Hoping to go much bigger next year.

Speaking of Thomas Point Beach, Russ are you going to the bluegrass festival in a couple of days

I'm thinking I won't be around for that one, the good news is you have 1001 years to plan it.

With that amount of time to plan it, it better be one heck of a gathering. No one can complain that we didn't give sufficient warning. lol

Let's talk about locations and dates. Does anyone have any sites they feel would be good? Any dates in October or November?

October is prime hanging time here in Maine. Cannot beat fall weather.
