Now how can you go wrong with that!! (Excellent)

How can you go wrong with that you ask? I have an email from over two weeks ago that also said the package will be shipped tomorrow.

I answered that email. I was on the road at the time and relayed the message to "headquarters". To my knowledge it had been sent out. I got back in the wee hours of Sunday morning. And must have missed your second attempt to contact us. Strike two for me . if in we're you, I would also be quite frustrated with Hammock Gear at this point.

There is no need to send the package now.

Rambler, Adam is doing his best to right a wrong situation. He's reimbursing you your money and also sending you replacement shock cord. There is no need to be sour about it. Mistakes happen, he's trying to correct it.

I'm not trying to be sour about it, please don't take it like that. I'm just saying there is no need to send me shock cord if I have some on the way.

IMO one can never have too much shock cord.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

    Amen to that one!!!

Stormcrow; what great customer service at trying to make things right. You always seem to pull through. Keep up the good work. If I weren't such a DIYer, I'd have you guys on my list for sure!

A long stiff piece of wire will work to help you thread the shockcord.
Just fold about 3" of the wire over the SC and pull it thru...

    hth
Yep, that if you don't want to wait anymore. Or just go buy a new piece of shockcord with no knot in it and thread it through if you are sick of waiting. Or run a piece of nylon cord through and splice it into your shockcord as a temporary fix until your replacement stuff arrives. Plus, this will give you good practice at home when you can take your time for handling such a malfunction way out on the cold trail one unlucky day! ( just trying to look on the bright side!)

Edit: Oh never mind, didn't get the entire thread, sounds like you have already repaired it yourself?

Ditto, oops on me. Still great on him, though, I guess.

Whenever I scan through the "forums" tab, I keep "seeing" hammock gear as in a catagory not vendor. Doh!

Seriously, this is my vote for best post of 2013. Creative, concise, obtuse, impenetrable - mind boggling.
