That must be the key to it all!

I came to this site years ago because of Just Jeff. I stayed because of the members and moderators. I became a donating member because this is the one forum I felt strong enough to knock out a few cobwebs in the wallet to show my proper appreciation. So many really nice folks here, all so willing to share knowledge and experiences. The vendors who bend over backwards to provide top quality products and service to their clients. The ability to laugh with one another but not in a mean spirited manner. I could go on, but y'all get my drift.

Thanks again to the members and especially the mods for making this the best place to hang around.
Happy Trails to one and all.
Enjoy the outdoors wisely and elevate your perspective.

I blame your diet. Eating "Garbage Plates" can't be healthy.....even if delicious!

Those cause wind from the other end, especially when you ask for extra beans.

I am of the utmost firm belief that a true hammock hanger, being the sophisticated and contemplative studious upstanding conveyor of good things that they are, cannot troll or overtly flame another, for even without religion, the hammock hanger by their very AWESOME nature, is at peace with not only themselves and the natural world around them, but with, well, even non-hammockers. The flamers and ranters are simply folk who have pretended to take up a hammock, but will inevitably sneak back to their truck, or chalet, and sleep in a more typical (though most uncivilized) manner. They know not the true ways of a hammock and all its AWESOMENESS.
I am now stepping off the soapbox. Watch me! Here I go. And...
    Urbs out.
The Intellect, so broad and majestic in scope, could manufacture a landscape on a whim, yet, far too often, sits there like a dull lead pencil waiting to be sharpened; in-animate and forgotten...

This forum, and all you fine people, ROCK. Usually, with a gentle breeze, but occasionally with assistance of a ground or tree nudge. This is direct opposite of sleeping on a ROCK, which makes one much more cranky (once me).

I often wonder if the awesome friendliness of this forum is due mainly from the members' personalities or the excellent moderation.

I recently signed onto a regional outdoor forum for my area and was surprised at some of the of nasty posts and bickering. It once again made me realize what a wonderful place hammockforums is!

    Take it easy,
