    My Weight So Far

Well, I got my scale finally! Nothing special, just a cheap Cliq Essentials digital scale off of ebay. At any rate it works well enough for me(although I wish it was a little more accurate, as it can only go in increments of 1g or .05oz) so I decided to weigh my gear as of now. I suppose it will be a little more accurate to just go by grams. Here is my set-up so far.

ENO DN with 7/64 whoopies and 7/64 adjustable RL (for when my gf is with me): 541g
DIY Taffeta with 7/64 whoopies and 7/64 dogbone RL (for when my gf is not with me): 459g
DIY TED bug net (with rubber band around it): 285g
    WB SF with 4 8' sing-it guy lines, 4 3.5' door lines, and 2 15' suspension lines with 2 Dutch Stingerz: 609g
Tree straps (9ft NRS Polypro Loop straps, w/out the buckle portion): 99g for both
    Toggles (arrow shaft): 2g each

Now I am waiting to save up some money for HG UQ and TQ. I got the SF because I could only afford 1 tarp so I figured I would get something big and 3-season. Either way, it is pretty good weight savings if I am going somewhere I KNOW that I won't need a tarp or bug net and can leave one behind.
I may be dumb, but at least I'm ugly!

I've done so much, with so little, for so long, now I can do anything with nothing.

It's not peer pressure, it's just your turn.

Yeah, that would be an unwelcome way to wake up under any circumstances. Although, unless I come upon a large sum of money soon, I might take that over the cone putting a hole in my SF!

That's right! I need to update my geargrams! Thanks for reminding me! My sleeping bag is terribly heavy as of now. I should have a CCF pad around somewhere, but I wouldn't begin to know where anymore...

Nice list! Hopefully when I change my insulation I should be around your same total weight

Oh wow, I didn't even realise you were down there! I used to go to CH a couple days a week to work in the Best Buy and the Sport Chalet. We have a few people in LA and San Diego, and I think I saw someone on the forum who was in Upland or Claremont or something. We should get a little trip planned with the local guys up to Baldy or something just to check out rigs and stuff. It's free to overnight on the Baldy trail as long as you have parking permits for each day.

Once you get a scale you will weigh everything. Its just interesting to see what different stuff weighs.

New goodies to add to the list!
Made a new hammock, 11', 1.1 ripstop, Knotty mod. After trimming everything its final weight is 245g.
    Dynaglide UCR's, 6': 13g(pair)
    Zing-it RL, 109": 5g

So new hammock setup is 263g, roughly 9.27oz!
