Love it. The bug net looks nicely tensioned.

Ditto on all the responses, great work! Getting ready to try my very first DIY hammock and tarp. Can't wait for the specifics.
Quick question: I'm 5'11" 185...would 1.1 ripstop give or sag too much with my weight. Getting ready to buy 1.9.
    Thanks

I'm in the same boat too, getting ready to try to DIY a hammock and tarp. What weight ripstop do you think you'll use for your hammock? Most all I've seen has been 1.9, but the hammock setup we both commented on uses 1.1. Just curious.....so much too learn. Information overload sometimes.

both dream hammocks and warbonnet outdoors have charts that help you match the right strength of fabric to your weight---very helpful!
FYI: If you want to know what type a certain bear is, sneak up behind it and kick it. Then,
run like crazy and climb up a tree. If the bear climbs the tree and eats you, it's a black
bear. If the bear just pushes the tree over and eats you, it's a grizzly bear : )

DIY Gear Supply by Backwoods Day dreamer (For a link, click HERE ) sells zippers by the foot and sliders at a very reasonable price. They also sell all sorts of great DIY supplies.
