SLD Streamliner and Mosquito Defender 360

Have to say I am more than impressed with my purchases from Jared over at Simply Light Design. Communication was top notch, making adjustments were as simple as asking for advice of what I wanted, quality is top of the line and boy is this thing ultra comfy. I literally placed my order late Saturday night while Jared was out of town and he built to order my items and had them in the mail by Tuesday afternoon. Ordered my Wind Breaker Tuesday night and he had it in the mail on Thursday with delivery set for Monday. Astonishing I'm not sure how he did it.

I ordered the SLD Streamliner DL 9' Hammock in Coyote Brown cut slightly narrower at 58" versus the 62" stock fabric. I also received the SLD Mosquito Defender 360 8' version chopped a short at 50" to allow a snug fit and no excess material. I have the Wind Breaker on order and will be here Monday.

    Coyote Brown color:

Testing, holy freaking comfortable, need to do some more testing I think.

    Enjoy!

    I'm looking at this hammock. Did you get 11' or 9'? I'm 6'5" 245 and I'm wondering about fit. I'm wanting 1.9 camo DL w/webbing susp 11ft.
    Thanks BigRed77

I went with the 9', but I'm nearly foot shorter then you at 5'6". I would recommend either a 10 or 11' for someone taller than I am. Really nice lay with no calf ridge noticeable.

I went with Dutch Cinch Buckles as I wanted Orange Loops and Camo webbing but they are the same as Jared offers only his are all black and cheaper since it isn't custom.

So after some play time I prefer my AHE Cinch Buckles over the Dutch Cinch Buckles, easy remedy I swapped them with my other hammock anyways the Dutch ones will be easier for him to adjust and this let me knock 2 oz off the weight.
