Oh you're gonna get me in trouble, goobie! I have my eyes on both the dynaglide and/or the pre-made ridgeline. I do like to make stuff for myself, so at least I know where to get enough dynaglide for what I need without having to go overboard!

I may be dumb, but at least I'm ugly!
I've done so much, with so little, for so long, now I can do anything with nothing.
It's not peer pressure, it's just your turn.
A less expensive solution would be to use your Amsteel line, tie two half hitches on the head end for the fixed loop and on the other side tie a timberline hitch and larks head the loop. When you're dialed in, change the timberline side into two half hitches or splice an eye loop.
I am using a Zing-it RL with this haven't even bothered with splicing yet.
For a ridgeline UCR, how large of a bury do you use? I made one with an 8" bury and needed a safety pin to keep it from slipping. If you use a larger bury, will this not be necessary?
I read in another thread that you need a minimum of 12", but even then I read about a few people still having slippage with amsteel, and I'm sure that's why people tie the prusik after the bury. That and the minimum length are why I am still wary about using it for suspension.

I bury mine the same as Samson recommends for whoopies, roughly 8". No slippage yet.....
as long as I make sure to milk the bury.
