    UCR for Ridgeline?

I have been toying with the idea of using a UCR for my ridgeline on my new hammock just to help save rope. Either that or use my adjustable RL to find the length I like and make a dogbone style RL that isn't adjustable. Has anyone had the problem with a little slippage using a UCR as a RL like I have heard a little bit about using them as suspension? I also though about using them as suspension, but the minimum length has been deterring me so far.
I may be dumb, but at least I'm ugly!

I've done so much, with so little, for so long, now I can do anything with nothing.

It's not peer pressure, it's just your turn.

I find dynaglide works better than Amsteel. I prefer the UCR for ridge line over rage whoopie because the extra line is at the end of the hammock. If you know the perfect length then Judy go dogbone.

I guess since all I've got is amsteel for my whoopies I will just find the length I like and go dogbone then, thanks Dutch! Oh, and for the record, your stingerz are awesome!

I second using Dynaglide UCR's for a ridgeline. No slippage yet, although my suspension UCR's have. Bit of a learning curve to them..... milk your buries!!

Sounds good, now I know to get dynaglide for my next adventure with rope, but that might not be for a little bit since I just got 100ft of amsteel and my gf is already angry about my recent expenditures Time to go make some whoopies! Next project will be UCR's, promise

Used lash-it for mine. I have a dutch biner on one end and melted a tiny hole in the bug net This allows me to easily move the ridge line inside or outside the bug net for summer/winter use or if I want to I can disconnect it completely.

What I haven't done is spent any time figuring out where the sweet spot is. I have WAY too much slack hanging out the end. I need to figure out the length and put a stopper knot or bead on the end of the slack just in case.
