Just came back from a week of Trail Maintenance of the Bear Creek feeder to the Pacific Crest Trail, just south of Edison Lake, here in California. I was very comfortable, had plenty of trees to choose from, and the envy of the trail crew. Love my Jungle Hammock.

I would love to see that trail some day. However being 50 years old already I doubt it will happen. I read the book "WILD" it is about the PCT and a woman who through hiked it. You're lucky to be a part of it.
Take this soul, stranded in some skin and bones, take this soul and make it sing.
I frequently do trail work on the PCT up here in Oregon... I live 25 minutes off the trail so it's easy enough to get up there for an over nighter or spend some time working the trail that I love.
Thanks for the work you do down there on it.
And Willhang1.. you are never to old to get on the trail... maybe not a through hike... but hit sections at a time or just little hikes. There is something special about the PCT.
