I just got off the phone with them. They are all out of the 1.5" stuff, but the 3/4 inch rolls up to about a 12" diameter. I just ordered it. I got the Medium Black Closed Cell Foam 3/4" x 57" x 82" and will trim it to fit my hammock.

I'll let ya know how I like it when I try it out.

Cool. I would be interested in something that was a little softer than my ccp. Let us now what the weight is too.
Is that too much to ask? Girls with frikkin' lasers on their heads?

$49 with free shipping. My only question would be how soft or firm 'medium' is, and how soft or firm would a wally world or target ccp be considered.

Hmmm...it's three times as thick as my pad, 35%+ longer and 40+% wider yet rolled up it's less than twice the diameter of my pad when rolled into a 20" wide cylinder? Something's amiss. Perhaps their 12" diameter is also 82" long...?

There's different CCFs and densities but if my pad had the same dimensions it'd weigh close to 41oz...let us know how much the Knox version weighs...

For as little as I use my pad (frame in my pack and below 20's) I'll have to stick with my $5 walmart pad.

The 12" was just diameter, length would be whatever the length ends up being, so if I cut it to 40" wid at the top, 30" at my feet, left it 80" long, it would be 40" wide x 12" diameter.

FWIW, most packs are only about half that width. 3/4" is a bit thick to fold in half but it might work. Interested to hear the stats on that pad when you get it, though.

a thicker pad could be cut, duct taped & folded like a... whatcha call that pad you got blackbishiop???
or a sectioned sleeve could be made to hold 3 or 4 sections of thicker pad... if the extra thickness turned out to be worth it.
I too will something make and joy in it's making
