I prefer an UQ so I can use it on other hammocks. Z-Liner can only be used on the Clark. I find the UQ is warmer and lighter in weight.

I use a JRB Mt. Washington 4. Fits my Clark NX-150 perfectly. vents well in warm weather, and cinches up tight in freezing weather. Perfect addition to my Clark

I don't know about an "ideal" UQ, but I have easily used a 3/4 enlightenedgear UQ on my Nx250, a hammockgear full length, and currently use an undergroundquilts full length. They all work as though made for that hammock, so about whatever you find you should have no problem with.

I use a HG 0* in the winter and a Lieghlo 20* in the fall and spring. Both snug up nice and wrap you in downy goodness. Plus the scrunch down small in a stuff sack.

Normally, yes. But sometimes I'll use a sleeping bag and loan my down to gearless friends to get them hooked.
