    Greetings from NC

I live in Wilson, NC, and have a passion for hiking. I made the transition form tent camping to hammocks about 6 months ago. I am slowly getting my hammock setup like I want it, which looks like will be a never ending venture. I currently use a HH Deep Jungle XL with the HH Hex Fly. I made my lightweight TQ out old an old military poncho liner. For now, my BQ consists of the reflectix insert that came with the Deep Jungle setup.

I am a Scoutmaster with the BSA, and go on monthly camping trips with the troop. It is difficult to work in additional trips with that annoying necessity that is work, but I try.

I hope to go back down into the Linville Gorge again and meet some of you at the next group hang there.

    Welcome from Greensboro!

I think NC has to be one of the most represented states on this forum. It stands to reason since it is such a great place to get outdoors!

+1 on Yates Place hang in November. I have been to the first two and plan on the next one. Great times and great folks!
